Reading this book will be a disappointing experience for anyone expecting easy instruction in the art of love. On the contrary, this book wants to show that love is not a feeling that anyone can easily enjoy, regardless of the level of maturity they have reached. This book wants to convince the reader that all his efforts for love are doomed to failure, unless he tries hard to develop a total personality, to achieve a productive orientation; that satisfaction in individual love cannot be obtained without the capacity to love one’s neighbor, without real humility, courage, faith and discipline.
